<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience in using an image forming apparatus by providing more useful information on toner consumption of the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 is an apparatus of performing printing on a paper sheet by consuming toner by printing operation, and is equipped with an operation part, a memory 17, and an image forming section 7. The operation part creates coverage data by integrating the toner consumption by image formation operation during a prescribed period and calculates the average toner consumption which is the toner consumption per one time of the printing operation based on the number of times of the printing operation performed during the prescribed period and the coverage data.
