PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key structure capable of improving housing performance since the height of a keytop can be changed smoothly, and thereby, the keytop can be retained in a depressed state. SOLUTION: The key structure K comprises a keytop 60, a base 60, a first link member 40, a second link member 50, and a movable elastic means M. The first and the second link members 40, 50 are linked to the base 10 and the keytop 60 movably. The movable elastic means M acts a lateral elastic preload f to the first link member 40 when it is at a first position X1, thereby, the height of the keytop 60 with respect to the base 10 becomes a first height h1, and the keytop is brought into an operable state. When the movable elastic means M is at a second position 50, the movable elastic means M releases the first link member 40, thereby, the height of the keytop 60 with respect to the base 10 becomes a second height h2, and the keytop becomes inoperable.
