PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive which can suppress the movement of a disk in a standby state. SOLUTION: Recording and reproduction are performed by setting a desired disk 12 to a rotation arm 30 after preparing a workspace S at the lower side of the desired disk 12 by moving the disk 12 vertically and positioning the rotation arm 30 to a prescribed position. In this case, the standby disk 12A which is below the desired disk 12 is fixed by sticking a pressing member 71 of a disk fixed part 70 to an external perimeter under the workspace S.
