PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a static toe angle surely with high accuracy even if the installation position of a vehicle is widely displaced from a normal position. SOLUTION: A measuring unit 18 of a static toe angle measuring instrument 10 comprises: a seating table 46 for seating a hub 16 of the vehicle 14 on a seating pedestal 48 while being movable with respect to a second base member 36 in a vehicle width direction and in a top-plan-view rotation direction; a member 70 under measurement equipped with a perpendicular measuring plane 68 outwardly extending from the seating table 46; and non-contact distance sensors 62a and 62b provided so as to confront the measuring plane 68 relative to the base member 36 and used for measuring distances x<SB>1</SB>and x<SB>2</SB>to the measuring plane 68 from two points away from each other by space y1.
