DOOR CLOSER DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely suppress the looseness of a cable capable of transmitting the operating force of a closer unit.

SOLUTION: The closer lever 12 of a latch unit 3 is connected to the drive lever 44 of the closer unit 4 through the cable 17 capable 17 of transmitting the operating force thereof in a tensile direction and tensioning means connected to the end parts of the cable 17. The tensioning means comprises an acting lever 45 connected to the end of the cable 17 and movable integrally with the drive lever 44 only when the drive lever 44 is moved from a neutral position to a close position and a second spring 46 energizing the acting lever 45 in one direction and capable of imparting an energizing force smaller than that of a first spring energizing the closer lever 12 to the cable 17 in the tensile direction when the closer lever 12 is at a wait position.
