The invention relates to a sealing element (20) comprising a tube-shaped body (26) of metallic material and first and second male sealing members (21a, 21b) formed at a respective end of the body (26). At least two intermediate members (24a, 24b) are formed in series in the body (26) between the first and second male sealing members (21a, 21b). Each one of said intermediate members (24a, 24b) is compressible so as to be capable to store elastic energy when the body (26) is subjected to axial compression and consists of a protuberance formed in the body (26) and extending around the centre axis (CA) of the body (26). The invention also relates to a coupling device provided with such a sealing element.
