PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable highly accurate position retrieval by providing a system wherein an optional one transmitter among a plurality of transmitters can be used as a totalization point, in a constitution wherein a transmitter and MPU are added to a receiver in a system wherein the interval between the receiver and the totalization point is wireless. SOLUTION: Concerning a system wherein the first signal from an object whose position is to be detected is received by radio communication on a plurality of positions whose positions are confirmed beforehand, and the second signal to which a signal intensity level of the first signal and attribute information of a plurality of receivers on known positions are added is received by radio communication by a totalization device for totalizing the second signals, and the object position is specified from the signal intensity level of the first signal included in the totalized second signals, this position detection system is characterized by that the position of the totalization device for totalizing the second signals can be changed optionally.
