PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately and rapidly measuring the activity of endotoxin, even in a sample in which a substance accelerating or obstructing a limulus test reagent coexist. SOLUTION: In the activity measuring method of the endotoxin by a limulus test, a surfactant is added to a sample liquid, and after the surfactant has been removed, the activity of the endotoxin is measured by the limulus test.
