PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a harness cover for an inside rear view mirror capable of being positioned and fixed to a roof trim even in the structure to just butt the end part of the upper side of the harness cover to the roof trim while assuring the versatility of a harness cover component. SOLUTION: The end part of the lower side of a lower side cover 11 formed in substantially U-shaped cross section is positioned and fixed to a mounting base part 12 of the inside rear view mirror 1, and an abutting surface 21c formed on the end part of the upper side of an upper side cover 21 is butted to the tip end edge part of the roof trim 4, and a projection 21d for engaging is locked to the tip end edge part of the roof trim 4 and the harness 5 is positioned and fixed. In the structure, the end part of the upper side of the harness cover 2 is positioned and fixed to the roof trim 4 by positioning and fixing the vicinity of the upper end part of the upper side cover 21 to the harness 5.
