PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a twin clutch type manual transmission by reducing the synchronous capacity of a synchronous meshing mechanism which serves the pre-shift of a shift stage group relating to a target shift stage. SOLUTION: The shift control device allows an odd-numbered shift stage clutch C1 to be engaged at t2 when a shift position Sf1 is in a neutral condition by increasing an engaging capacity Tc1 at a 4-3 shift commanding time t1 when the shift position Sf1 of an odd-numbered shift stage group relating to the target shift stage (a third speed) is changed from a current fifth speed to the third speed. Thus, an engine rotation advances to a gear set of the odd-numbered shift stage group via a clutch C1. An output side speed Nc1 of the C1 approximates the engine speed Ne as the input side speed to reduce a difference in the rotation to be synchronized, of the synchronous meshing mechanism in the odd-numbered shift stage group. At t3 when the Nc1 approximates the Ne, the C1 is commanded to be disengaged to reduce its engaging capacity Tc1, and at t4 when the C1 is almost completely disengaged, the odd-numbered shift stage group is shifted from a neutral condition to the third speed. Then, an even-numbered shift stage clutch C2 is disengaged and 4-3 shift is completed by re-engagement for engaging the C1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
