Planchettes for inclusion in paper products, such as bank notes, are described. The planchettes comprise one or more coloured regions that are visible only under ultra-violet light. The planchettes have shapes that are complex or have features such as indentations, projections and lobes. In some forms, the planchettes form multi-sided symbols, such as national symbols. |
