The method involves establishing a communication connection from a transmitter unit to a session initiation protocol (SIP) server (SSI), using address data, where the server is assigned to an operator of a feedback channel service. The data is provided as the destination address data to the server so that a feedback channel is provided for the user data which refers to a broadcast user data transmitted from the broadcast server (BS). An independent claim is also included for communication transmitter device comprising an interface for communication with a broadcast server.
