OIL-IN-WATER TYPE POLYORGANOSILOXANE EMULSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O/W type polyorganosiloxane emulsion which has excellent mechanical stability at low temperature and doses not give large loads to environments. SOLUTION: This O/W type polyorganosiloxane emulsion comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyorganosiloxane having a viscosity of 0.1 to 10,000 Pa s at 25°C, (B) 1 to 50 pts.wt. of a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether represented by the general formula: R-O-(BO)m-(EO)nH or R-O-(EO)n-(BO)mH [R is a 4 to 8C alkyl; BO is a butylene oxide unit; EO is an ethylene oxide unit; (m) is the average addition molar number of the butylene oxide units and is an integer of 1 to 100; (n) is the average addition molar number of the ethylene oxide units and is an integer of 1 to 100], and (C) water.
