PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image acquiring method and a device thereof capable of correcting easily distortion of the reflected light images caused from a plurality of factors. SOLUTION: The image acquiring device, including a luminant means irradiating light to imaged objects, a photoreceiving means receiving the reflected light from imaged objects, and image generating means generating the reflected light images representing a three-dimensional geometry of imaged objects from the intensity distribution of reflected light received by the photoreceiving means, acquires the reflected light images and by using a transformation matrix for correcting distortion of the reflected light images to an ideal image showing an ideal three-dimensional geometry of imaged object each pixel value is corrected of the acquired reflected light images. A transformation matrix is formed by multiplying an inverse matrix of the matrix where each pixel value of the reflected light image acquired with the image acquiring device corresponds to each matrix element and a matrix where each pixel value of the ideal image corresponds to each matrix element, a matrix where each pixel of the reflected light image corresponds to each matrix element and the transformation matrix are multiplyed, and thus each pixel value can be corrected of the reflected light image concerned.
