<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of concurrently transmitting/receiving GPRS packet data and paging in a mobile communication terminal in which the mobile communication terminal can concurrently process a GPRS service and a GSM service in a GPRS network supporting NMO-2 by periodically inserting a GPRS suspension period to a PTM service time frame in such a manner that GPRS packet data are transmitted/received during a PTM processing period and GSM paging is received during the GPRS suspension period thereby allowing the execution of the GSM service. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of concurrently transmitting/receiving packet data and paging in a mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication terminal supporting transmission/reception of packet data, periodically inserts a specific segment during packet data transmission/reception, suspends transmission/reception of the packet data in the specific segment period and receives paging from a base station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
