<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image-based diagnosis supporting apparatus which can display even two or more possibly abnormal shadows with the excellent visibility. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image-based diagnosis supporting apparatus acquires the medical image (S1), detects at least one type of the possibly abnormal shadow from the medical image, generates processing result images which are discriminated by color using the display colors corresponding to at least one of the type of the possibly abnormal shadow and the grade of the possibly abnormal shadow (from S2 to S5), and displays the processing result image (S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
