PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incense burner capable of lighting candles or the like even if it is rainy and free from damages by the heat of candles. SOLUTION: This is an incense burner comprising a pedestal 11, the top 12 and a pair of partition walls 13, 14 for connecting the pedestal 11 and the top 12 and separating them into three divisions, a rotary body 15 of mani wheel or rotary epitaph, and opening decoration boxes 18, 19 provided in the left and right divisions for carrying a candle stand, an incense holder 17 and other Buddhist altar fittings; the opening decoration boxes 18, 19 being formed into a U-shape in horizontal section with their upper parts open upward; these boxes 18, 19 being rotatably provided between the pedestal 14 and the top 12 so that when these boxes are closed, the opening 27 of these boxes 18, 19 may face to the partition walls 13, 14 and when they are opened, the opening 27 may face to the front; and these boxes 18, 19 are formed so that when they are open, their upper openings 28 may protrude in part from the end of the top 12.
