<p>The invention relates to a gasket which is intended to provide a leak-tight closure in the coupling system between two pipes that are to be connected. The inventive gasket comprises two bodies which are connected by means of a constriction throat element that deforms under pressure, one of the surfaces of one of said bodies being embossed. According to the invention, the embossed body deforms and increases the support surface of the gasket against the pipe, such as to provide a leak-tight connection.</p> |
