<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotational speed control method and controller of a rotary mechanism in which rotational speed can be controlled stably for variation in load while reducing the size and power and the r.p.m. can be stabilized. <P>SOLUTION: The rotational speed controller of a rotary mechanism equipped with an air turbine 5 for driving a rotor 2 at a target rotational speed specified arbitrarily comprises induction motors (7, 8) having a conductor as a movable portion arranged coaxially with the rotor, and a means 14 inputting a current having a waveform for generating a magnetic field traveling wave at a speed matching the target rotational speed for the induction motor, and arranged to control variation in rotational speed of the rotor being driven by the air turbine by receiving a current from the current input means for the induction motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
