摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a photocatalyst which is excited by a faint light source like a fluorescent lamp to be used in an indoor environment and exhibits high photocatalytic activity stably. <P>SOLUTION: This photocatalyst is obtained by heating a titanium oxide particle and a platinum compound comprising a nitro complex, an amine complex or both complexes in an aqueous solution whose pH is adjusted to 6-10.
