The process for treating the thrombosis of the portal vein comprises transcutaneous and transhepatic puncture and the catheterization of the portal vein employing Lunderquist's technique as well as intraportal infusion therapy. In addition, the guide is inserted into the portal vein via the puncture needle. Then the mechanical recanalization of the thrombotic area is performed, and the passability of the portal vein is restored. The intraportal anticoagulant therapy is performed.
