The drum of the winder of hot strip contains the rod driving in the axial direction, located in the cross-shaped shaft articulated with the drive of rotation, sectors with T-shaped lugs located in the grooves of shaft, and support. Support is located on the driving bar fixed from shift along its axis, manufactured at least with one external lug located in the longitudinal groove of the shaft. Each of the sectors is manufactured with the longitudinal tooth executed along the axis of sector on theinternal surface and located with possibility of radial displacement in the appropriate cut of the shaft. Rod and support are articulated by surfaces, shape of which in the cross section differs from cylindrical shape.
