The vehicle has an operator cabin, and a cistern connected to an auto-lifting machine. The auto-lifting machine is anchored to the vehicle using standard connectors, and permits rapid lifting movement of the cistern with the use of a crane. A foam tank is incorporated with the cistern. A hydraulic system with low-pressure and high-pressure pumps is provided for pumping out water and foam from the cistern and foam tank. The crane can be set at any desired position for effective release of water and foam to put out forest fire. A protective unit is provided to prevent formation of water curtain to the vehicle without having to install anti-turn bars in the cabin.
