PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively improve the rigidity of a core plate at an uppermost part of a core part. SOLUTION: The oil cooler is provided with the core part 1 with oil passages 6 and cooling water passages 7 alternately formed between stacked core plates 5, and a top plate 15 joined to the upper face of a first core plate 31 at the uppermost part of the core part 1. An upper communicating line 16 allowing an oil communicating hole 8 opened in the first core plate 31, to communicate with a center oil communicating line 14 is formed between the first core plate 31 and a bulge part 15a formed at the top plate 15, and a fin plate 11 is interposed between the first core plate 31 and a second core plate 32. A plurality of protruding parts 35 with the tips joined to the second core plate 32 are formed at a third core plate 33, and the plurality of protruding parts 35 are arranged in positions along the outer peripheral edge of the bulge part 15a.
