PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor whose height is reduced to a level causing no impairment of reliability due to deterioration in oil returning property and by improving storage efficiency in a compartment. SOLUTION: In a machine part for a hydrocarbon refrigerant in which a cylinder capacity is relatively increased to assist refrigerating capacity per unit area which is smaller in comparison with a case that R134a is employed as a refrigerant, a rotor recessed part 111a is provided to a compression element 113 side of a rotor 111. A bearing part 135 is extended in the rotor recessed part 111a. An inverter-driven motor operated at multiple rotational speeds is taken as an electromotive element 110.
