PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side ditch block for a draining pavement for efficiently performing pavement work for making a water permeable surface layer, in the side ditch block used for the draining pavement forming the water permeable surface layer. SOLUTION: A water introducing groove is horizontally arranged over the total length in the longitudinal direction on an outside surface of the side ditch block for forming a drainage channel over the total length. An opening part of the water introducing groove is formed narrower than a diameter of a crushed stone used for the surface layer, and the opening part is widely formed. A drain hole communicating with the drainage channel in the side ditch block, is formed in a proper place of the water introducing groove. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
