PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein document data cannot properly be structured, when an image processor performs backup/restoring processes in parallel, in response to requests from different clients. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with a client registration section 18 which registers client information permitting backup/restoring processes; a network communications section 17 which receives requests for backup/restoring processes sent from a client on a network; an access control section 19 which collates client information, included in a processing request received by the network communications section 17 with the client information registered by the client registration section 18, to permit access for backup/restoring processes according to the collation result; and a B/R execution section 20 which executes backup/restoring processes, according to the processing request when the access control section 19 permits the access.
