PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-in-water type emulsified composition stably emulsifying various kinds of oils. SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsified composition comprises the following ingredients (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F). (A) a polysaccharide derivative in which a part or all of hydrogen atoms in hydroxy groups in the polysaccharides or derivatives thereof are substituted with a group represented by general formula (1), (B) polyols, (C) a nonionic surfactant having 4-9 HLB, (D) a slightly soluble substance, (E) an oil for dissolving the ingredient (D) and (F) water.
