OIL-IMPREGNATED SINTERED BEARING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent both of shortening of an oil-impregnated sintered bearing and deterioration of surrounding environment at a time of use of the bearing, and to form such an oil-impregnated sintered bearing without increasing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This oil-impregnated sintered bearing 10 has a bearing hole 12 through which a rotary shaft 15 is inserted formed on a bearing main body 11 formed out of porous sintered alloy including holes inside. In the bearing main body 11, density at an end surface side 11b including a bearing end surface 11a having the bearing hole 12 opened thereon is set higher than other part in an axial direction of the rotary shaft 15.
