<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for steel material and a method for producing the steel material using the heat treatment apparatus by which in the case of performing the heat treatment with induction-heating, such heat treatment as to have the aimed characteristic in the steel material can be performed by accurately matching the surface temperature and the inner temperature of the steel material with the targets. <P>SOLUTION: A calculating unit 12 assumes the temperature distribution in the cross-sectional face in the steel material 1 at the induction-heating and defines the heating electric power so that the assumed surface temperature and inner temperature satisfy prescribed temperature targets, and based on these, the heating electric power is supplied to each induction-heating device 11 from an electric source apparatus 13, so as to heat the steel material 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
