DIELECTRIC RESONATOR, OSCILLATOR AND TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER

A dielectric resonator, an oscillator and a transmitter/receiver having stabilized characteristics whose manufacturing cost can be reduced. A transmission line (2) is formed on the front surface (1A) of a circuit board (1) and a ground electrode (3) is formed on the rear surface (1B). An electrode (6) having a circular opening (7) is formed on each surface (5A, 5B) of a dielectric substrate (5), thereby constituting a TE010 mode resonator (4). An insulating layer (8) is provided between the ground electrode (3) of the circuit board (1) and the electrode (6) of the TE010 mode resonator (4) which is then fixed to the circuit board (1) using an insulating adhesive (9). By having such a structure, the current passage is not varied even when a partial separation occurs between the circuit board (1) and the TE010 mode resonator (4), thereby stabilizing the characteristics.
