<p>The electrical components are covered by a layer of a contact material whose consistency is modified by heat. The support card is held within an injection molding machine so that the heat energy provided in the mould by the injection melts the contact material, establishing electrical contacts. The electrical components of the data support include an electronic chip (5) with contact areas, and a coil. These electrical components on the card are covered by at least one layer of a contact material whose consistency is modified by heat. The support card is held within an injection molding machine comprising two shells (1,2). The heat energy provided in the mould by the injection molding process is used in order to melt the contact material or, in the case of different consistency to harden the contact material. The contact material may thus be either a thermo-softening material, or a thermo-setting material.</p> |
