PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a ply component for a tire having higher uniformity. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus of a reinforced elastomer fabric has a die having a plurality of holes and the first and second calender rollers arranged adjacent to the die. The die has the slots arranged adjacent to the calender rollers and an end plate pressed so as to bond reinforcing cords to a ribbon comprising an elastomer material. This apparatus further has a cutter for cutting the ribbon into a plurality of segments each of which has a length L, a width W and both edges in a lateral direction and a pickup arm 92 for arranging a plurality of the segments on a conveyor 94 so that the end parts in the lateral direction of the adjacent segments are superposed and bonded so as to have a superposed joined part with a width W/2.
