<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for realizing a backlight module capable of having both luminance and color temperature of the display light compatibly. <P>SOLUTION: The backlight module has a case having at least one opening, at least one main light source arranged in the case, at least one color-temperature adjusting light source arranged in the case, and a light diffusion plate arranged at the vicinity of the opening of the case.
