摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately predict the quantity of unburnt components such as HC in exhaust gas. SOLUTION: Idling speed control of feedback-controlling the fuel injection quantity so that engine speed coincides with target idling speed is utilized to predict the quantity of unburnt components in exhaust gas based on the feedback correction quantity KFB to the fuel injection quantity (S11, S14). The quantity and concentration of oxygen flowing into a cylinder are computed (S12, S13), and correction is made with the computed quantity and concentration of oxygen (S15, S16).
