Energy supply system (10) contains control (2) and energy accumulator (4), to which are coupled electric consumer appliances (3). Voltage (U) at energy accumulator is measured and target off stages (Z0-n) are determined.From stages and minimum stay duration are determined state values, from which are derived off stages that are transmtited to data bus. Consumer appliances or their groups are controlled via off stages. Preferably, energy supply system can assume at least two operating stages, i.e. regular one and rest one, both with specified features.
