<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an oscillation property by further reducing the size of a crystal oscillator obtained by integrally joining upper and lower substrates to upper and lower faces of an intermediate crystal plate obtained by integrally forming a crystal vibration piece and an outer frame, and by reducing oscillation resistance. <P>SOLUTION: Upper and lower substrates 3, 4 are stacked on upper and lower faces of an intermediate crystal vibration plate 2 obtained by integrally forming the crystal vibration piece 13 and the outer frame 14 and air-tightly joined to seal the crystal vibration piece. Lead out conductive films 9, 10 are formed on the side face of a crystal oscillator 1 and electrically connected to an upper joining film 17 or the lower joining film 19 of the intermediate crystal vibration plate exposed on this side face, and exciting electrodes 16, 18 of the crystal vibration piece and corresponding first external electrodes 5, 7 or second external electrodes 6, 8 are electrically conducted, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
