PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain device preventing occurrence of troubles such as adhesion to peripheral parts and hands of a worker and splash on a floor by converging a cooling water flow when water force is weakened at the end of drain working for draining cooling water from the drain port of a drainage pipe. SOLUTION: The end part of a drain pipe 43 extending downward is connected to the drain port of the drainage pipe, in the drain device 4 in which the drain port 52a of the drainage pipe is opened and closed by the forward and backward movement of a drain plug 42 in the car body fore-and-aft direction to the drainage pipe 41.
