PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a throttle valve operating device having a swivel mechanism and improve its durability. SOLUTION: A connection member 5 is turnably supported on a valve lever 4 integrated with a turning valve element 3 through a bearing member 7, and a member 6a for hook of an operation cable 6 is engaged with an engaging hole 5a provided in the connection member to constitute the swivel mechanism. A stopper piece 4b for bending a part of the valve lever onto a carburetor main body 1 side and letting it abut on an idling adjusting screw 8 is provided. Since it is possible to suppress occurrence of a dead space by bringing the idling adjusting screw close to a carburetor main body, miniaturization of the throttle valve operating device can be promoted, and wear due to mutual slide-contact of metal units is prevented using the bearing member to improve durability.
