<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record the open of a package by a package receiver and to enable a package provider to confirm the open evidence trail of the package. <P>SOLUTION: When a package receiver opens the package in the open evidence trail confirmation system, an open tag 10 attached to the package transmits tag ID wirelessly (S11). A radio gateway 20 receives the tag ID and transmits the received tag ID to a server 40 through a network 30 (S12). The server 40 receives the tag ID, extracts a record corresponding to the tag ID in an open record management table 50, records an open state as open, and records also an opening date.
