<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an IC card reader device which can be promptly restored when tampered while maintaining a tamper-resistant function. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card reader device has an IC card reader/writer 1 for executing reading and writing of information to/from an IC card, a tamper switch 2 for detecting the tampering when tampered, and a control unit 3 for controlling the IC card reader/writer 1 corresponding to a command from a high-order controller. When the tampering is detected by the tamper switch 2, the control unit 3 erases the information of an access key from a RAM 6 and notifies the high-order controller of the erasure of the information of the access key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
