PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup device stably slidable in a long period. SOLUTION: A holding section 321B1 having a bearing protection section 321C1 is integrally provided on a pickup base 320 moving along a guide shaft 230 while mounting the pickup 310, at the position fronting on an end part of the moving direction side of a cylindrical bearing 321A which is pivotally supported to the guide shaft 230 slidably, and also at the position not interfering with the guide shaft 230. The pickup base 320 and the bearing 321A can be formed with respectively different materials, and the satisfied movement of the pickup device 300 is secured by selecting a best material, and the end part of the moving direction side of the bearing 321A is protected by a bearing protection section 321C1, then the satisfied movement of the pickup device 300 is maintained in a long period.
