PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a motorcycle in which the uniformity can be raised. SOLUTION: The tire 1 for the motorcycle is provided with a tread 2 having the maximum tire width defined by a tread width TW, which is a distance in the tire axial direction between tread ends 2e, 2e, and having an arucuately curved surface 2a projected outward in the tire radial direction in a tire meridian cross section. In a regular state wherein the tire is assembled in a regular rim, is filled to a regular inner pressure and is not loaded, the ratio (TW/h) of the tread width TW to the camber amount h, which is a radial distance from the tread end 2e to a tire equator C is not greater than 7.0. A tread rubber Tg arranged in the tread 2 is composed of a strip laminated body 10 formed by spirally winding a belt-shaped rubber strip S having a width of 5-30 mm and a thickness of 0.3-1.5 mm in the tire circumferential direction.
