<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material, with successful recording surface, which can allow efficient removal of paper tailings sticking to the surface of a thermal head, and is almost free from the generation of print streaks. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording material comprises a thermal recording layer and a protecting layer formed on a support.
