<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a spray-type solid oil enabling uniform and thin application of solid oil as it is at normal temperature to the surfaces of various food materials and cooking tools. <P>SOLUTION: The spray-type solid oil is obtained by dissolving solid oil or wax having a melting point of 20-50°C together with alcohol having an alcohol content of ≥95° in hydrocarbon having a boiling point of -50°C to 10°C, and filling the product in a spray can. The solid oil or wax having a melting point of 20-50°C preferably comprises butter, margarine, lard, chocolate oil and fat, cacao butter or various kinds of wax having a melting point of ≥20°C. The alcohol preferably comprises ethyl alcohol having an alcohol concentration of ≥95 vol.%.
