PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel unit by which a manufacturing cost can be efficiently reduced and a slot machine using the reel unit. SOLUTION: An annular cable-storing section 77 bundling cables 76 is arranged in a securing bases 73, and the mounting base 73 is secured to a support frame 62 while fitting the mounting bases 73 into notches 65 arranged near connecting portions 64 above the support frame 62. The mounting base 73 is mounted to the support frame 62. Thereby, the problem such as that the cables 76 is pinched between the mounting base 73 and the support frame 62 when mounting is not generated, the assembly workability of the reel unit 60 can be secured. Connectors are not needed in the middle of the cables 76 because the cables 76 extending from the mounting base 73 can be took out from inside of the support frame to the outside of the same as it is, the number of parts can be reduced, and the manufacturing cost can be efficiently reduced.
