<p>Sliding bearing composite material comprises a steel support layer with a sliding layer made from an aluminum bearing alloy containing 4.4-6 weight % zinc, 2.5-6.0 weight % bismuth, 1.0-2.0 weight % silicon, 0.8-1.2 weight % copper, 0.2-0.8 weight % magnesium, optionally up to 0.2 weight % titanium, nickel, manganese and tin, optionally up to 0.6 weight % iron and not more than 0.1-1.0 weight % impurity additives. The alloy forms an aluminum mixed crystal oversaturated with zinc, in which the zinc is present in a fine distribution by solution annealing and subsequent quenching.</p> |
