<p>The system has a carriage which is integrated with a mounting base (8) that is fixed at the level of a rear part of a vehicle. Arms are articulated on the base and have diggers (17) at their respective ends. Each arm is locked in unfolded position and comprises a supporting leg (18) having a plate (19). The leg is supported on the ground between the diggers and the base. An independent claim is also included for a method for setting up a weapon system.</p>
