PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an envelope with a gore having excellent printability by a laser type printer forming a main force in a present office while ensuring strength and appearance as a bag. SOLUTION: The envelope 10 with the godet comprises an envelope face 11, an envelope back part 12, gores 13, 14 continuously provided on right and left sides of the envelope face 11 and the envelope back part 12, and a gore 15 continuously formed on a bottom side. An address label 16 is affixed to an area (a stepped part) A not overlapping the gores 13, 14 of the envelope face 11 in the thickness direction in a state that the godets 13, 14 remain folded inwardly.
