<p>HIGH SPEED LINEAR MOTION MECHANISM A motion mechanism is described. In one embodiment, the motion mechanism includes a base portion, a flexure portion, and a transducer. The flexure portion includes a payload support portion configured to support a payload, a first plurality of elongated portions extending substantially in a first direction and contacting the payload support portion, wherein the flexure portion contacts the base portion. The transducer is arranged to provide a force to the payload support portion in a second direction when actuated, the second direction substantially orthogonal to the first direction.
